Politique de confidentialité. You leave data with us when you write to us on Telegram or by email. Apart from that, a visit counter is running: it counts pages, not people. This page covers both.

Who is responsible for the data

What data we collect
When you start our bot @Wavesettbot, Telegram passes us your id, first and last name, username, interface language and Premium status. Telegram does not pass on your phone number or email. We also see which button on the site you came from: calculation, conversation, question or sample calculation. Beyond that — only what you write yourself: messages, answers to the calculation questions, voice messages and files, if you send them. If you write to us by email, we will have your address and the letter. If you ask a question through the form on the «Вопросы» (Questions) page, we will have your name, occupation, email and question. What the visit counter collects is described below, in the section on cookies.
Conversations on Telegram
We write to each other through the bot. It forwards your messages to our work chat on Telegram, where a person reads them. Our replies reach you from the bot. Our database stores the data from Telegram, marks of your steps — took the sample, started the calculation, answered the questions, received the document — the calculation deadline, your first message and your answers to the calculation questions. We prepare the document from your answers, and you can correct them in the bot’s menu. The rest of the conversation is stored in Telegram: on your side and in our work chat. The bot writes to you only on business; there are no mailings.
The «Поговорить в Telegram» (Talk on Telegram) button on the home page opens a direct chat with us, without the bot. There we see what anyone you chat with on Telegram sees, plus your messages. Such a conversation does not go into our database; it is stored in Telegram, on your side and on ours. We delete it 12 months after the last message, like the rest.
Why
To reply to your request, to prepare the first calculation if you have started it, and to continue the conversation if you want to. We do not use the data for mailings — there are none.
Legal basis
Replying to an incoming request is a legitimate interest (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(f)): you wrote to us, we reply. The calculation questions are part of a calculation you started yourself (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(b)). No separate consent is required for this. If a mailing ever appears, we will ask for consent to it separately, and the box will not be ticked in advance.
Who sees it
We do. Answers to the calculation questions, marks of your steps and your first message are stored in our database, on our server. The conversation goes through Telegram and is stored by Telegram, under its rules. Nobody else sees it — neither advertising networks nor third-party analytics services. A question sent through the form is stored in our database, on our server. A notification about it reaches us on Telegram.
How long we keep it
12 months from the last message. Then we delete it — both in our database and in our work chat. In the server’s technical logs, bot messages are kept for up to 30 days.
Your rights
To ask to see what we hold about you. To correct it. To delete it. To restrict its use. To do this, just write to our bot on Telegram or to contact@wavesett.com. We reply within one month at the latest.
Withdraw consent or ask for deletion
Send our bot on Telegram the single word «удалить» (Russian for “delete”) or write to contact@wavesett.com — and we will delete everything you have left with us within a month and confirm the same way. If you gave consent to something separately, you can withdraw it with the same message: changing your mind is as easy as agreeing.

Cookies and the visit counter
We do not use cookies. The site writes nothing at all into your browser — no cookies, no hidden markers. The only exception is the opt-out below: to remember your opt-out, it has to be stored somewhere, and it stays only with you.
Our visit counter is our own: it is called Umami and runs on our server. It counts which pages are opened, which address visitors came from, from which country, region and city, on which device and in which language. Your IP address is not stored, and a visit cannot be linked to you personally.
There are no third-party services on the site at all. Fonts, animation, the counter — everything loads from our domain. Neither Google, nor Meta, nor advertising networks learn about your visit.
That is why there is no banner: under CNIL rules, audience measurement is exempt from consent when the counter is your own, measures only attendance and does not follow you to other sites. Ours is exactly such a case. If anything beyond this appears, a banner with a real choice will appear first.
